What Is Hidden Docker in Corel Draw?
updated: February 16, 2011
Corel draw is a graphics program developed by the Corel Corporation. Available to consumers since 1989, the program offers different task panes, known as dockers, that may be used to manipulate a graphic or text. Corel Corporation's recent version, Corel Draw Graphics Suite X5, retails for $499.00 as of 2011.
Dockers may be hidden from the workspace to keep the work window clear of items, and may revealed by clicking on the "Window" option, followed by "Dockers." Dockers may then be docked in the window or left floating for a flexible workspace.Docker windows provide commands for the tool or task pane that is open. For example, the "Text" docker contains tools to format text and change font styles through menu lists and command buttons.Different docker types are available in the Corel Draw program such as image, text and information dockers. Image dockers are used to enhance images with colors and brushes. Text dockers may be selected to change text features, and informational dockers, such as "hints," are used to assist designers when drawing.
